'Thank you for a lovely holiday,
we have had 2 fabulous weeks, you are fantastic hosts
and made us very welcome (even Nora and Jasmin). This
is the best place we have found to stay in Pembrokeshire
and we will definitely be back. We were so cosy in
the Long Barn and really enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Hope to return here very soon' Roy
and Angie, Co Durham, Oct 09
'Our first trip to Wales to
trace our heritage. We have lost our hearts to this
corner of paradise you call home. The warm welcome
we found at Little Loveston made us feel we'd come
'home' too! Thank you for all the advice, and the
warm hospitality - we know we will be back. The cake
alone would make it worthwhile - Thank you Ruth, Tim
and family.' Gail
and Joan Squires, South Africa and Bahrain, Sept 09
'Our 4th stay at Little Loveston
and another lovely family holiday. We have really
enjoyed staying in the lovely, cosy cottage and the
girls have loved having the freedom to play outside
and in the games room and enjoyed playing with new
friends.' Michelle
and Geraint 'I loved staying at Little
Loveston, the cottage was cosy, I loved playing in
the play area, also the pool and going in the games
room playing pool with my Dad. I made lots of new
friends and visited lots of places.' Anya
(9). 'I loved watching and helping Anya
and Dad play pool and playing table football and playing
in the hammock and the caravan' Mia (5).The

'A nice balance of a wide
variety of interests in the general area. Accommodation
nice and clean and comfortable; and plenty of space
which was an unexpected surprise. The children have
both thoroughly enjoyed the garden attractions and
Games Room and made some friends. Noticeably, the
nicer places for visiting are all quite nearby - the
castles and beaches - without having to drive miles
to see anything.' Julia,
Nigel, Leyla and Chris, Bucks, Aug 09
'We've had a lovely time and
would love to come back. Enjoyed the space here and
the play area, also the childrens' books in the games
room. Thankyou! Would recommend Brunel Trail - excellent
traffic-free cycle route (ask Tim!), Broadhaven, South
beach, Feccis fish and chips and ice cream at Tenby,
Carew Inn for good meal (we ate in the garden with
our children who enjoyed play equipment) Thankyou
for a lovely relaxing holiday!. Elaine,
Andrew, Matthew (7), Joe (2), London, July 09
'Our frist visit to Little
Loveston and we hope to come back again in the future.
Despite some inclement weather, we had an action-packed
week which left everyone happy. Boys love the games
room, the new pool (an unexpected bonus!) and access
to the fields around the cottages. They also enjoyed
a surfing lesson ant Newgales with Newsurf . Treetops
at Heatherton was great fun.' Caroline.
'Loved Long Barn and the lovely hosts,
always freindly and helpful, making us feel at home.'
Joe (14) 'It's a really
wicked place! There's loads of things to do without
even leaving the place (games room, play area and
pool). Can't wait to come back!!!' Matt
(12). 'Lovely place, lovely part of the
world. Look forward to returning.' Philip,
Reynolds Family, West Sussex July 09
'We enjoyed a splendid time
at a wonderful place, comfortable and relaxing. Especially
the garden was great just lazing around on a warming
afternoon sun after a day filled with new impressions.
Congratulations to Ruth and Tim for a true little
paradise you've created. Many thanks for a perfect
start of our Tour de Cymru!'Hannelore

'Our third very relaxing break
in this lovely cottage in beautiful Pembrokeshre but
our first in May so a very different feel - longer
days, warmer and lots of wild flowers. Have revisited
familiar favourite places as well as new ones, especially
the lovely walk around Wooltack Point and Marloes.
The meal at the Carew Inn was as delicious as ever
and the food from the Farm Shop was of the usual high
standard - lamb chops and Pembrokeshire potatoes!
The peace and tranquility here is such a welcome respite
from our usually frantic lives - we love it here and
will be back next Easter'. Malcolm,
Sue, Madeleine, Yippy and Rosie the dog, Co. Durham,

'Lovely cottage, surroundings
and delightful setting. Enjoyed coastal walks in Dale,
Solva, Manorbier, Marloes, Bosheston, Broadhaven South
and a very wet jet boat trip from St Davids (recommended
for speed and wildlife but take waterproofs!) Please
be nice to the very friendly cat and dog, hopefully
we didn't overfeed them (especially the cat) and we
would like to adopt them. Would recommend the water
park if its wet, the farm shop, and thanks the the
lovely owners. Credit to them for developing such
a superb project. See you again soon we hope!!' Al
and Jenny, Leeds, May 09
'I liked staying in the Long
Barn. I played pool and football with dad and table
tennis with Mum. Great location, great cottage and
perfect hosting. Rohan

'Stayed a lovely couple of
days here which went far too quick. Cottage charming,
really lucky with the weather and enjoyed the sunshine
out in the back garden. The cake on arrival was much
enjoyed and admired! Lovely setting, enjoyed the log
fire very much and the roaming chickens and Nora the
dog. Had a very good meal at Carew Inn. can recommend
the lemon dover sole, and chips were amazing. also
try the orange cheesecake, it's to die for! Well done
to Tim and Ruth for creating a lovely retreat and
the very best of luck for your future in continuing
success.' Janet
and Kevin. Bridgend, April 09
'Lovely place - superb to
be welcomed by log fire. Everyone very friendly and
great walks and pubs! The Long Barn is well-equipped
and comfortable. Just two gripes however. The Master
Bedroom would definitely benefit from a new mattress
(mattress has been
renewed) and the toilet seat needs fixing
in place (done). Children
enjoyed the games room.' Craig, Jaq,
Jordan and Dominic, Nottingham, New Year
'Lovely to be welcomed by
a warm fire and tea and cake - after a horrible drive.
Nice and cosy surroundings, we had great fun playing
ping pong.' Adele
and Jez, Bristol, Nov 08
'Great start with a great
cake! What a lovely cottge, so tasteful compared to
the usual bland places we stay in. Fantastic location.
The children loved Manorbier and Freshwater West and
made huge tide-fighters. What beautiful beaches you
have here! Tenby and beaches are lovely and great
shops in Narberth - lots of jibbitz bought at the
Jelly Egg Gallery. Barafundle, an absolutely fabulous
beach with beautiful views and sand.' Victoria,
David, Caitlin (9), Jacob (70, Somerset, Nov 08
'We have all had such a wonderful
time staying at Long Barn, a beautiful place. Had
a trip over to Caldey Island, what a peaceful, beautiful
place. Also we went to some lovely beaches. Barafundle,
Broad Haven South and the gorgeous walk around the
Lily ponds. One thing is, you have to be so careful
driving. There are so many little animals on the roads
around here. We came upon an injured fox who could
hardly walk, he managed to get off the little road
into the hedgerow. Very upsetting to see. Thank you
Ruth and Tim for the scrummie cake and information
about the area.'
Richard, Diane and Ozzie (our little dog), Leicester,

'A very comfortable and welcoming
cotttage. The tea and cake were most welcome on arrival.
The views at Stackpole and Angle were amazing and
it only rained whilst we were in the car or safely
back in front of the logburner! Thank you.' Ken
and Gaby, Cardiff and Hamburg, Sept 08
'Our 4th visit to Little Loveston spending
one week in Landsker House and one week in Long Barn.
despite the very challenging weather we have enjoyed
ourselves. Managed to visit the beaches (Broadhaven,
Barafundle, saundersfoot and Tenby). Great day out
at Oakwood for the boys who enjoyed getting very wet
and great fun rockpooling at Manorbier. Matthew and
Robert have enjoyed the games room especially during
the wettest part of the holiday. Thank you Ruth and
Tim, no doubt we will be back very soon' Joanne,
Jonathan, Matthew and Robert. Royton, Lancashire 23/8/08
'Lovely place to stay - very
central for coastal and estuary walks. Lovely conversions
and super gardens. Thank you for such a kind welcome

have had a lovely relaxing time in Long Barn - especially
after a day out coming back and sitting in garden
with a cup of tea - bliss.' Ann & Ken Chivers,
Devizes, Wiltshire. 21/6/08
'The Barn is beautiful and the walks
you suggest are fantastic and out of this world (or
at least a long way from high-speed London and home!)
We managed to relax most of the time and get away
from the 'kitchen fitters' in our house. Much thanks' Tracey and Simon, Sidcup, Kent. 22/4/08
'We had a wonderful week in Long Barn.
We enjoyed the mixture of castles, celtic stones,
churches and abbeys, pubs, small villages, hills and,
of course, the coast path! We loved the interiors
of Long Barn.' Ulrike und Martin, Karlsruhe, Germany.

'Well needed break, well deserved
in these quiet surroundings. Absolutely fantastic
place to be for our seven days. Visited 6 beaches
in all and spent some happy nights in front of the
beautiful wood burner. Listening the sounds at night
and watching the moon - chill chill chill. Full credit
to Ruth and Tim for the amazing interior of this barn.
A pure delight, thank you so much. Andy&Nuala&Jack

"We have had a lovely stay in Long Barn.
There was a lot of enjoyable activities to do, especially
the games room with the pool table and the tabletennis.
The park was a very big place we can run around, have
a lot of fun. The atmosphere is amazing and there
is an incredible view. In Lttle Loveston there are
cows too on the other side of us that are very annoying!
This place is lovely, hopefully we'll be back again
next year!!! Hannah (age 10-11). The
Tuckers, Swansea. 2 November 2007
"We've have a great week with some lovely
weather. The kids loved the play field and games room
and made great friends with the others stayng in the
other cottages. A very relaxing place where we managed
to read books whilst the childen ran around - bliss!!
Folly Farm, Crystal Maze, Pembroke Castle were all
hits as well as a boat trip from St Davids to see
seals with their pups. Thank you for providing such
a lovely holliday cottage" Elspeth,

"What a lovely place, so peaceful and
still close to all the lovely towns around Pembs.
So much to do. The fire was a lovely welcome home
comfort. Nora loves attention, we will bring dog biscuits
next time. The Cwm Deri Vineyard was good - try the
Black Cherry wine" Ceri and Richard.

"Our second stay in this lovely cottage
and we have really enjoyed ourselves. The week has
flown past. Thank you for the lovely welcome cake
Ruth. We also enjoyed the bredakfast wecome pack the
the farmshop. We've had good days on the beach at
Manorbier (nice small bay but pebbly) and North Beach
Tenby (lovely soft sand and not crowded, even on a
hot day). We liked Castell Henllys where Daniel did
Iron Age activities. Also Picton Castle (OUR castle)!
where the gardens are beautiful - if you have children,
go on a Thursday, as they put on special activities.
Thank you Ruth and Tim - we have admired your work
in converting the farm buildings into cottages. You
have done an excellent job" Karen,
Arthur and Daniel Picton. Mold, Flintshire. 11 August

"Had a great week despite 'changeable'weather!
Loads to do in the area - Ben and Poppy were kept
well entertained during the day on beaches (Saundersfoot,
Broadhaven South, Tenby), Seal Safari, Carew Castle,
Folly Farm, Crystal Maze at CC2000 and, in the evenings
they enjoyed a bit of freedom in the safety and security
of the play area and games room. Ticked all our boxes
for a good holiday." Webb family,
Nr. Liverpool. 28 July 2007
"Wonderful relaxing time here at Long
Barn. Good cycling out to Lawrenny Quay and Picton
Castle. No shortage of places to go - Barafundle Bay,
Lots of Castles. Fine cake to be had - Cornstore across
the bridge in Pembroke very good for lunch - including
of course Ruths own! Thank you to Ruth, Tim, Nora
and Jasmine and the rest of the family" Jess
and Dave, Bournville, Birmingham. June 2007
"What a fantastic week, with a little
bit of everything and a lot of sunshine and much needed
relaxation. We have visited chidhood haunts of Saundersfoot
and Wisemans Bridge and new places - a gloroiously
hot afternoon spent a Barafundle (one of the best
beaches we have ever been to and not too busy) and
a lovely day out to St Davids and Solva (where we
finally managed a good long coastal walk) - amongst
them. Coming back to Little Loveston and Long Barn
after eah trip has been a pleasure - great location,
peaceful surroundings, the bonus of a private garden
and friendly people! We have also enjoyed produce
from the farm shop and a lovely meal at the Carew
Inn (booking essential) while Rosie the dog has had
a wonderful time rummaging around in the garden. Thank
you Ruth and Tim - this is a great place to stay and
we hope to return next year" Malcolm,

"Fantastic holiday.
Location wonderful, short drive to Oakwood, Folly,
Barafundle. Would love to come again." Fiona
Dunn and family, September 06.
Great week. We really don't
want to leave such a beautiful area and such a lovely
little cottage. Despite a mostly grey and wet week,
we had a great time at Castel Henllys (Ironage fort)
and rockpooling at Manorbier. Also highly recommended
Folly Farm if you have little ones - lots undercover
if wet too. Last 2 days of sun had a great trip on
a RHIB out to Ramsey Island with Voyarges of Discovery
and found beautiful Broad Haven beach (South) - quiet,
lovely soft sand and sand dunes. Sorry to leave, but
we go with happy memories. Liz, Will
and Isaac Izzard, Worcestershire. September 06
"What a beautiful cottage.
We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and felt extremely
welcome. Had a splendid time visiting many locations
all over north and south Pembrokeshire. From St Davids
(new refectory at the Cathedral is lovely) to Barafundle
Bay (surely the most beautiful beach in the UK) Tenby,
Newgale, Solva etc etc. All wonderful. The weather
held out and it was always great to get back to the
cottage in the evening. Will definitely come back!"
Wyndham Price, Gaynor Messer-Price, Nel
Price, Cardiff. July 06.
We have had a fine week here
in Long Barn. We enjoyed the coastal footpath with
its excellent views. The pub in Cressweel Quay is
an experience on a Friday night. The taste of the
fresh tiger prawns at Laawrenny Quay was fine, together
with the walk and the nature. a good day out. Many
'wild' animals survived our driving the narrow roads.
Thank you for your hospitality." Barbara
and Markus Groninger, Mainz, Germany. July 06
"We've had a fantastic
week with unbroken sunshine every day making us feel
as if we were in Brittany!! We all got sunburnt whilst
enjoying the great beaches at Broadhaven (via the
stunning Lily Ponds), Fresahwater West, Tenby and
Saundersfoot. Folly Farm is very good value for the
kids with an action packed daily agenda. We loved
the cottage which has been very thoughtfully equipped
and decorated and the welcome was very warm from Tim
and Ruth. Thanks very much and hope to see you soon!!"

"The weather has been
fantastic which has made for a memorable trip. The
walking and cycling has been fabulous, look out for
Blackpool Mill and Carew Mill tea rooms. Narberth
is worth a visit - check out Q restaurant or Spanish
deli. There is so much to see and do here - I will
definitely to back again and again. Oh and the cottage
was perfect, basking in the afternoon sun at the back.
All in all a five star week." Paul
